The attitude of the psychonautical traveler is very important.
These are the suggestions to have a suitable attitude towards this experience:
1. Get in touch with your thoughts and feelings and have positive expectations.
2. Be comfortable with the guide physically and emotionally.
3. You should not have infrequent intense feelings such as dark, suicidal or troublesome thoughts in any other way and do not delve into suffering or the nature of evil.
4. Prepare yourself to have highly unusual experiences, such as, for example, experiencing different realities or historical periods, or being in another body, in another sex, becoming an animal, plant or microorganism; experiencing your own birth, meeting the divine within you in a very wide variety of forms including gods and goddesses, divine beings or transcendental light.
The following are instructions for taking a proper trip :
1. You need to feel good physically (or at least well enough) to follow through with your intention.
2. Be prepared to follow the advice and receive the help of the guide during the experience.
3. Prepare to lie down, listen to music and observe your heartbeat, pay attention to any sensations in your body.
4. Be ready to forget all the expectations generated by the session and any personal concerns regarding your relationships, personal matters and customs.
5. It is necessary to let go of each visual experience, feeling or event as it happens.
6. It is also necessary to detach oneself from one's own identity and allow the physical barriers of the body to dissolve.
7. Be ready to experience and deepen your awareness of other dimensions of reality.

The following are guidelines for a pleasant experience :
1. Stop eating red meat for at least 3 days before the ceremony.
2. Fast and drink only water or tea the morning of the ceremony.
3. Arrive at 8:00 am at the ceremony center.
4. Wear comfortable and warm clothes.
5. Bring insulation or sleeping (if applicable).
6. Take a tent if you want to spend the night in the center in camping mode.
7. Bring a notebook to capture your visions.
